Pantene Pro- V Repair and Care hair potion review

There are some products which you absolutely hate and they lie stashed in your wardrobe, and once in the blue moon when you clear your dressing table you think of ways to make it work...And surprisingly these things work way beyond your expectation...

Well here's the story of Pantene potion, i got this product just for the heck, i had a bottle of matrix serum with me, still i bought it on a whim thinking...Pantene is easily available and if it works i dont have to go to the Parlour to get Matrix...I hate going to parlours :)

Price: 99rs for 100 ml i guess, but i got it in an offer...

I would not go in my standard Pro's and Cons section, as the product didnt give me good results when i used as per instructed, but with my desperate attempts to make it work it has given me good results..

For 2 weeks i used it as a leave in conditioner for my hair, and it did no good of neither taming my frizz, nor making it smooth...nothing at all...It didnt help me in getting rid of tangles as well :(

My hair type is thick, dry wavy hair, and it is a pain to get rid of my tangles...and Matrix, Livon do a great job in getting tangle free in 1 min...However Pantene failed miserably here.... minus point here

I realized this is not a fast product for someone who has a race against time every single day...i couldnt use it for getting ready for office...and i was about to dump it in the dustbin...but just stashed in the wardrobe...and started using Matrix Biolage serum again....

Once my Matrix got over, i had no option but to use this,...

I started applying Pantene in the night...and then tied my hair in a bun and slept...and next day i would get up with the softest of hair...the whole feeling of soft silky hair which i never had....

I also realized that i didnt need to use any serum in the morning, my frizz were well taken care of, split ends reduced...

There was however no shine or glossy effect, nor did it help in the length, but yes i had well nourished hair to welcome me in the morning...

My verdict:

Its a slow product, if you want something to instantly tame your frizz, or smoothen your hair, this is not for you...but if you want a product which restores your hair, takes care of the split ends, then this is the one for you...Just use it the night, tie it in a bun, and get up for smooth soft hair...

I have started loving it :)
