Aroma magic witch hazel pack for acne & pimples

I was always enticed to buy Aroma magic products, but never had a chance since these were not available at any of my nearby stores. After reading a lot of positive reviews about urbantouch.com, i was motivated to do online shopping.


Product Description:

Rs. 160, i got it at discount, for 150rs :)


Ingredients:

Extracts of witch hazel, cabbage, neem, sea weed, beta-carotene & pure essential oils of juniper berry, tea tree, rosemary & eucalyptus.


I use it every morning once a day, and i quite like it


Pros:

1) Its a gel based face pack, which gets absorbed easily

2) Packaging is a tub one, which i like as there is no wastage

3) Price is cost effective, it lasts for a month

4) Ingredient list is good

5) I like the fragrance

6) Helps in controlling oil (major plus), also helps in clearing the skin...



Cons: Nones


Final verdict: I would definetly buy it again, as it is an effective treatement, but it is definetly slower in giving visible results.

My experience:
Pro's:
1) It is one of the few facepack which doesnt make your skin feel stretched.
2) The facepack glides onto your skin like silk, it almost feels like second skin, its like applying aloe vera, you can go to the grocery shop and no one would notice you applied a face pack... This is a major plus for me, as i have someone or the other always knocking on my door, and with other facepacks i had to run and wash my face, here there is no such problem
3) Skin is super smooth soft
4) Good packaging
5) Value for money
6) Easy availabiltiy

Cons:
None, i love it

Would you recommend: I unfortunately could never follow it up with the gel or emulsion due to time constraints, but it still a winner for me... Go ahead ladies its wonderful for the price

I have been introduced to Patanjali products by Anamika from http://www.wiseshe.com/2010/07/ram-dev-divya-kanti-lep-review.html. I was initially very skeptical for trying Baba type products, because of the scams and all the nasty news that gets floated in the news channel. But somehow Anamika's review and the pricing convinced me to give a try to their products...

Product description:

Price: 28-38 rs, i am not sure on this, but its very cheap
There is no description as to how to use it. i used it this way

Way of application: I apply it by mixing it with water, and keep it on my face for not more than 5 mins.

My experience:
Pros:
1) Results in 5 mins, my skin is more clearer
2) Completely herbal, the moment you smell it, you realize it
3) It helps in lightening of blemishes
4) Occurence of pimples is reduced, if you use it regularly
5) Since its a coarse powder, it also helps in scrubbing while you clean your face
6) Super value for money

Cons:
1) It stinks like hell, i cant withstand the smell for more than 5 mins...the moment i apply i am on the lookout for washing my face, infact i just stand near the wash basin to wash it once it gets dried.
2) If you stop applying it daily, pimples start visiting
3) There is an extra effort of cleaning the wash basin, because else it leave yellowish stains.

Would you recommend: If you are fine with the smell, then go ahead, as it really helps in even out your skin tone, and lightening of scars.

Lotus Black Clay Skin Whitening Facepack

This was the first face pack that i ever got, and i got it around 3 years back. After my marriage i had lot of breakouts, and my skin was full of blemishes, the reasons could be attributed to adjusting to a different family, being away from my parents my brother, and this took a toll on my skin...
This pack had come in as a saviour...

My experience:

1) It actually helps you in clearing off your pimples without blemishes.

2) Skin becomes soft and supple, evens out skin tone

3) Packaging is good

4) Doesnt leave your skin dry, but maintains the perfect balance of the right amount of  moistuation and taking off the excess oil

5) Little goes a long way, its a very thick creamy stuff, so i apply it on my damp face, as its difficult to apply on dry face
6) Available at almost all places
7) Has a mild tingling sensation, but not something you cannot adjust to

Cons:
1) I hate the smell, it reminds you of the school days clay project that we did, wierd kind of smell
2) The pack says it has to left for 20 mins, trust me i dont have that kind of time or inclination i just leave it for 5 minutes/until it dries and the results are good, but i think writing on the pack as 20 mins is a turnoff for people like me who are super lazy and would nt prefer walking around like a black ghost

Would you recommend: Yes, i am already on my 4th tube :)

Nature's Essence Papaya Face pack

This is a brand which i discovered during my visits to the parlour, and i realized its one of the most common brand used in parlour's across Pune... and to my surprise this are easily available at all the Big Bazaar Outlets, where i have to pay my monthly visits....


As per me, Nature's has been the most underrated brand like Dabur amongst bloggers...though its a good value for money...

What the product claims:
Papaya Pack Treatment Pack For Blemishes and Pigmentation

This Papaya extract and enzyme based pack is suitable for dark patchy, pigmented and
blemished Skin. Based on Papaya enzymes and citrus extracts, it has natural pigmentation removal properties to improve the complexion of the skin. How to apply:
Just take a small quantity in your hand, and apply it over your cleaned face, and wait for 5 mins


Price: 65rs for 60 gm

Pros:
1) This is another face pack, which is suitable for women on the go
2) It doesnt give you the burning sensation that Dabur facepack gives, but results are pretty similar...If i have to compare the usage of Dabur facepack and this one, Dabur is for instant lift, but Dabur has the burning sensation which makes eyes watery, whereas, this is a sublte working facepack, with more or less similar results.
3) Takes care of blemishes and pigmentation
4) Smells really good
5) Product consistency is good, easy to apply
6) Pretty much happy with the packaging

Cons:
None

I am pretty much content with it, since it takes pretty less time, doesnt create a mess, and delivers result

My rating would it is the 2nd best facepack that i have tried in the budget range, the 1st has to be Dabur facepack...its just awesome

Oriflame Tomato Clay purifying mask

The review for this mask, has been overdue for long, the details of the products are as follows:
              Purifying clay mask that deeply cleanses normal to oily skin. Enriched with tomato extract to help diminsh pore size.

My experience with the product:

Pros:
1) One of the best smelling mask i have ever experienced
2) Its a white colored mask, an appealing color for the ladies ;)
3) Makes your skin nourished, and no dry feeling
4) Skin feels soft and supple
5) Smells great, i have repeated it again, because its the biggest pro, i love applying it for its fragrance
6) Dries in less than 10 mins
7) The results are pretty fast, i look visibly fair
8) Daily use is recommended, and since it takes under 10 mins, quite feasible
9) Price, i dont find it expensive, it delivers what it says
10) Its works well for all type of skin, recommended especially for oily skin, but my friends with dry skin also like it
11) The packaging is good, and the consistency of the product is good, you just need to take a small amount, and straighaway apply to your clean face.
12) Regular use leads to reducing in pore size

Cons:
1) Oriflame products have the standard flaw of depending on the consultants...

Well, the good news is Anamika, from wiseshe.com, informed me, that anyone can become a consultant by paying 300rs, and on becoming a consultant you avail good discounts, and get a free starter kit...
I am not aware of the nitty gritties so far, but i do intend to be a consultant for my own selfish reasons, and not for business, as i feel some of the products that Oriflame makes are a stealer, where on earth would you get a lipstick for 69 bucks :D

Dabur Vatika fairness face pack review

I am not someone who is a makeup expert, or the one who would love to try very many products....so i am the kind of person, who would obediently read the review of my trusted blogger friends, and then buy it, To be short and precise, i am stingy by nature, and i cant stand the fact that i have to waste a product as it didnt suit me...... I have a sensitive skin, which can breakout for no apparent reasons.....

As i was browsing through the shop, i came across Dabur Vatika fairness face pack, i scratched my head hard thinking, whether i have come across a review for it, and i realized there was none, but still there was something drawing me towards buying it.....may be the price, it just cost 50 bucks..... I thought to myself, even if its a waste, its just 50 rs, not a big deal.....

My experience with the product:
1) It smells pure chandan
2) has a lovely pinkish color, which is a major draw
3) Doesnt leave your skin dry, and there is an immediate beautiful glow on your face.

This is a face pack with immediate results, daily usage is recommended, but i generally use it for special occasions, as the results are visible within 10 mins..

A word of caution, please dont apply near to your eyes, as i have observed, once the product starts working, your eyes become watery.
There is no tingling sensation, but the product by itself generates some heat, which makes the eyes watery.

Its an easy to apply face pack, and takes 10 mins to dry, has become a part of my holy grail, especially good, if you have pimples on your face, as it has a drying effect on pimples, the pimples reduces in a day, and leave no blemishes

Verdict: Its a stealer for the price......
